I get a blue screen of death sometimes when I close my lid. Sometimes it's immediate, is if my laptop never went to sleep. Sometimes it seems that it happens after it's been asleep for a while, though I'm not too sure.
Regardless, my laptop will be awake and running when I come back to it.
